Care sector sets its alarm clockCommunity Care Market News - Months after it was first announced, the Green Paper on adult social care is set to be launched this afternoon by the new Health Secretary Andy Burnham. In a move which should put to bed much speculation concerning possible schemes such as the government establishing a social insurance system, Mr Burnham will present the Green Paper in parliament at 3.30pm. In a last minute bid to influence the long awaited document a number of insterested parties have stressed the need to address the quality of long term care as well as the fundamental principles of funding.
