LAs failing to step up to personalisation challenge
Over a third of England’s local authorities risk missing the government’s October deadline for having appropriate information and advice services
relating to the social care personalisation agenda, according to a survey published this month.
Meanwhile, figures published by the NHS Information
Centre claim that there are massive variations in the take up of personal budgets ranging from just 3% of eligible people acting in Somerset to almost
60% of people in Manchester.
